Day-1
Kerala is well connected with all other regions of India. You can reach Kerala by any means of train or air. Let's start with Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram which is the capital city of this state. Arrive at Trivandrum and go to the lighthouse. A local autorickshaw will charge around 110 people for this trip. Check out your hotel upon arrival at Lighthouse Beach. It is the only beach in South Kerala where you can see the hills adjacent to the Arabian Sea.
After Varkala beach go to Srijananardana-swamy Temple. It is a 2000 year old temple that makes the Barnal temple popular locally. The main deity here is Lord Vishnu.
Day-4
Go to Alappuzha from Thiruvananthapuram on the fourth day of your tour. You can take any advantage of car or train from Trivandrum to Alappuzha. It will take 3 hours by train to go from Trivandrum to Aleppo. A local car will charge around Rs 2400 for advance travel. Train fare is 60 rupees per person. If you are traveling by train, you will need to hire a local auto-rickshaw to reach your hotel. It will cost about Rs 30 per head to determine the distance. Take a short local tour after check-in. 8-Day
8th day Go to Munnar for local sightseeing. Munnar has 4 sightseeing tours. Local auto will charge Rs 400 for per tour. First go to the flower garden. It is a well-manicured flower garden called the Floriculture Center. The park has a variety of flowers and some medicinal plants maintained by the Kerala Forest Development Corporation.
Visit the Tata Tea Museum from the Flower Garden. Next visit is Lockhart Tea Factory. Go to Matupetidam from Lockhart Tea Factory. Matupetti is another popular tourist spot in Spot Munnar. This place has a great view of Lakepand tea gardens spread over a wide area.
Go to Echo Point from Matupetti. The natural beauty of Echo Point is located at an altitude of 600 feet and 15 km from Munnar. This picturesque destination is located in the lap of a picturesque lake and lush green mountains, which makes it a visual treat for everyone.
Go to the top station from Echo Point. The top center is located about 32 kilometers from the city center. This is the highest point of Munnar. From here you can get a panoramic view of Marjik West Ghat. The place is popular for its natural beauty. The Leela Valley and cascading waterfalls of this destination make it an enchanting place.
Visit Kundala Lake from the top station. Kundala is Asia's first arched dam and rare Nilakurunji flower that blooms once in twelve years in the hills and valleys surrounding Kundalala. Enjoy paddle boating on the lake. The cost per couple for one hour is 150 rupees. Check out the Atukad waterfall after Kundala Lake. Situated between beautiful hills and lush green fruit, this ancient waterfall is a famous picnic site. However, the road to Atukkad is very narrow and special care needs to be taken to drive the car.
